You are reading “About Me.”
But really, this is about you.
I don't share my story because it is special. I share it because it is ordinary. I am exactly where you might be. Someone searching. Every single day. Searching for a more honest version of himself.
When success stopped resonating
My name is Paweł Sokołowski. I studied economics. I managed a bank branch. I spent the last ten years working deeply with AI and software. By every outward measure, my life was successful.
But my real journey began the day that life stopped resonating. I grew up in a home shaped by alcohol and difficult patterns. I carried wounds that quietly needed healing. I smoked. I drank. Slowly, deliberately, I let those habits go.
Meeting myself in the silence
I began to travel. I went to more than fifty countries. I was searching for what our Western civilization seems to have forgotten. I sat in long Vipassana retreats. There I met my greatest friend. I also met my greatest enemy. I learned that both of them live inside me.
Bit by bit, I understood something. The experiences I once called “broken” are simply part of me. I learned to love myself. So I learned to love them too.
A drop in the ocean
I think of myself as a borrowed piece of earth. I am grateful to Mother Nature for lending me this body. Just for a single blink of the eyes. I am not above anyone. I am a drop in the same ocean as every other drop. Made of the same atoms. Holding the same ideals.
I speak to you not as a guru. Not as a doctor. I am a fellow traveler. Someone walking the same road. Just a few steps alongside you.
What I carry with me
Meditation & Vipassana

I sit. I watch my thoughts. Not to change them, just to see them. Through Vipassana I learn how impermanent everything truly is.

Spiritual travel

I've been to fifty countries. Everywhere I go, I find the same person. Just built differently. I travel to listen.

Body & breath

The mind and the body are one. I swim. I breathe. I practice traditional Thai massage. This is how I let go of the stress the body quietly holds.
